How the Axis Won World War II
Sounds like one of those Nazi-sympathising titles doesn't it? The aim of this blogpost is to show how the Axis forces of World War II, despite having lost the actual war, in the end emerged victorious and currently control most of Europe.
Belgium - Known as the centre of the European Union with Brussels being one of three EU hot spots. Guess what? Back in World War II (and even World War I) Belgium was under the control of the Germans, in other words - Axis. Belgium went on to be one of the founding member of the European Coal and Steel Community in 1951...just 6 years after they were liberated from German control.
France - A.K.A. the joke state (as far as politics is concerned). France surrendered to the Germans in 1940 striking a compromise with Nazis. France would be divided into the part ruled entirely by the Germans and the other part (Vichy France) which did whatever the Germans asked. The difference? Zero. Of course, when the Germans in France were defeated in 1944, France conveniently switched sides and later proclaimed itself a hero in the war. Needless to say, they went on to for the European Coal and Steel Community...yet another Nazi power. Today Sarkozy claims to want to extend his presidency (set to end December 2008) indefinitely so that Eurozone countries will not be at a disadvantage under the next two EU presidencies. Basically, this idiot has decided to model himself after Napoleon and persuade other countries that they need him as their leader. Suffice to say, his Presidency has been filled with him praising himself and claiming to be the Chosen One (not using those words, naturally). The aforementioned idiot plans to continue the work of the French leaders before him in following Nazi orders.
Italy - Enough said. Axis force pure and simple. On the same rank as Japan. Founded European Coal and Steel Community.
Luxembourg - Occupied by Germans in 1940. Formally joined Third Reich in 1942. To their credit, the government in exile did work with the Allies. Still, the damage was still done to a certain extent in the homeland. Went on to form European Coal and Steel Community.
Netherlands - Invaded by Germany in 1940. Went on to form European Coal and Steel Community.
West Germany - No explanation needed. Germany was the head of the axis. West Germany reunited with the rest of Germany in 1990. They lost the war. Yet...(read on)
For some reason these six forces have still managed to take over Europe which is what they wanted to do in the first place. The only thing that changed was that instead of doing it by force, they realised they had to do it through persuasion and rhetoric.
Today, the aggressors Germany and Italy together with the traitors France are at the helm of the European Union controlling virtually all aspects of the institution and continuously pushing us closer to becoming one state controlled by them (ie. becoming a United States of Europe) as is witnessed by the Lisbon Treaty which they keep trying to force upon us.
Meanwhile the former Allies such as the UK and Malta are treated as secondary countries and only praised if they do exactly what they are told. A similar situation exists with Ireland with regards to the Lisbon treaty but I already discussed that in a previous post. As far as Malta is concerned, the Axis powers have no worries as both main political parties will bend over backwards and screw themselves for the European Union. With the UK, the current government is the same and only the Conservatives seem to have the backbone to stand up against the Axis.
It's amazing. We defeated them. Let them create a Union. Then we joined that Union and became their bitches. What a lovely bedtime story.
